🌟 Major Update: XP Rate System, Ironman Expansions & More!

We’re thrilled to announce one of the biggest updates yet — featuring new XP rate options, fresh playstyle modes, and a range of quality-of-life improvements both in-game and on the website.

⚔️ Choose Your Adventure: XP Rate System

Upon creating a new character, you’ll now be able to choose from multiple XP rates, ranging from 1x to 25x, with an additional progressive mode (1.1x → 10.9x) for those who want a dynamic leveling experience.

Each XP rate group has its own hiscores, creating 13 fresh leaderboards and giving players new ways to compete and progress!

Additional Options When Choosing Your XP Rate

Auto-Complete Quests — Available for 5x and higher rates. (Note: You won’t be eligible for future quest capes or quest XP.)
Purist Mode — Disable tertiary drops such as supply crates, with optional drop rate buffs.

Drop Rate Balancing

Default 10x XP = baseline. Buffs up to +5%, nerfs up to -18%, affecting only unique drops (Bosses, Slayer, Barrows, Minigames, Random Event Uniques, Skilling Pets).

🧩 Ironman Updates

We’ve expanded Ironman gameplay with brand-new options:

Ultimate Ironman (UIM) and Hardcore Ultimate Ironman (HCUIM) modes added.
UIMs can now note/unnote items at bankers.
Custom UIM armor sets added (HCUIM armor features a red trim). (TODO!)
New icons for UIM/HCUIM in-game and on the website.
SurviveRS now interact differently with UIM mechanics (items go to temp inv).

🌍 Website & Hiscores Update

A major website refresh is on the way: clean carousel-style news posts for announcements, an optional modernized hiscores alongside the classic 2004-style leaderboard, new icons and better overall layout polish.
